The Last Terminal Entity
A twenty-year-old woman in dystopian future Chicago volunteers to jump back in time to 2018 to rescue lost human knowledge to help rebuild the future. She is the last of the nanotech-infused human Terminal Entities, the only beings capable of time travel. Her designation is TE-55, the last of the TEs and the last hope for the future. Volunteering condemns her to only one more year of life.
Hours before her jump, she discovers an anomaly that threatens her resolve; what she discovers when she arrives in 2018 changes everything.
Her belief’s shaken, unable to tell friend from foe, TE-55 faces difficult decisions as she navigates an urban setting where time becomes her enemy.
